Easy-fit fixing plate for bar shower mixers

An ‘easy-fit’ fixing plate for bar shower mixers by Marflow Engineering has proved to be extremely popular, especially with the independent bathroom retailer.

The Shower PL8 was launched early Autumn 2006 and the first nine months sales figures confirm that this product filled a gap in the market for a quality, reliable and stylish solution for fixing bar shower mixers.

“Our market research told us that plumbers and merchants were waiting for a product of this kind, we are delighted to find that it has been welcomed by independent retailers as well,” said Paul Dawes from Marflow Engineering. “We were the first company to bring this type of one piece concealed fixing to market and offer a cost effective and efficient solution to a universal problem.”

The PL8 can be fitted into any kind of wall, block or brick, stud partition or rendered wall and creates a perfect fix every time. The steel plate is fixed into the wall at the first fix stage with a simple clamping device that holds the pipes in position, perfectly square and at the correct distance apart. After decoration the bar shower mixer is then easily fitted to the exposed pipework.
