Creating Boudoir elegance in the bathroom

Introducing to Elysée - the new addition to the Masterpiece collection from bath and bathroom furniture manufacturer Burgbad
There are some who say the Boudoir was born at the end of the 19th Century with the emergence of The Lady's Dressing Room - beauty secrets were collected and shared, and more than a hundred years later, the bathroom remains the essential sanctuary of the home.
Elysée, the new addition to Burgbad's Masterpiece Collection, makes bathroom and bedroom a combination of both a luxurious, lady-like boudoir with the kind of splendour that is difficult to find. Distinctive washbasins in six designs have a filigree bowl made of mineral material slightly offset from the vanity unit and with a velvety surface to touch. The furnishings are decorative pieces for the whole house and have a delicate, baroque style. From vanity units to tall cupboards and netsuke scale trinket cases.
The inner and outer refined covered tall cupboard, vanity unit and sideboard selection is complemented by mirrors with light and full-length mirror with a wide, gold-leaf frame or lacquered in the colours of the furniture and all-round LED lighting. The illuminated mirrors also have a light strip on their underside for indirect lighting of the washbasin. A matching upholstered stool is the final touch.
