Franke Sissons wins business of the year award and celebrates 235th anniversary
(25/11/2009)
Franke Sissons have been awarded “Business of Year” in the first Derbyshire Times Business Award, at the time when the company celebrates its 235 year anniversary, with a history of continuous manufacturing in the same area of the country. The award followed the company’ award of the “Best business idea” in the competition which focussed on the company’s new, automated washroom systems.
The award was based on the comprehensive nature of the new washroom systems developed by the company that incorporates vandal resistance, low water usage, no touch operation and 24 hour control amongst the benefits of the stainless steel based systems.
“This is a clear vindication of the quality of the work that Franke Sissons now deliver across the various specification washroom ranges we offer the trade.” said managing director Andy Dukelow. “We now have solutions for hospitals, courts, schools and public buildings of all kinds. Not only can we offer hands free wash basins, there are low water and energy consumption products together with our traditional products, many on an ex-stock basis for delivery overnight, to complete the package.”
Comprehensive washroom system specifications across three district ranges can be on the company’s website and the company has also just completed a permanent exhibition at the Building Centre in London. In addition, a comprehensive “live” exhibition of all the key elements of the company’s latest automated bathroom ranges are available at the company’s sales and manufacturing site in Chesterfield.
