Rapport Dream Shower achieves TMV2 accreditation
(23/07/2009)
TMV2 is an independent testing procedure to check that thermostatic water valves shut down instantly if the cold water supply should fail, preventing the risk of scalding and that the water temperature remains stable and within safe limits despite changes in the inlet water pressure or temperature.
Hudson Reed has announced that the new Rapport Dream Shower has achieved TMV2. Hudson Reed says the Rapport is the first shower panel to be granted this safety approval under the ‘UKAS Buildcert’ scheme.
The sleek lines of the Rapport shower panel in stainless steel offers a slider rail and multi function shower handset and three body jets, with a diverter to change between these functions and a dual control thermostatic valve, so that a preferred water temperature can be left preset between showers. Ideal for upgrades or new installations with a minimum 2 bar water pressure is recommended for best performance.
The Rapport Dream Shower with TMV2 from Hudson Reed is claimed to be the first shower panel to achieve this rigorous accreditation for domestic use. The Rapport introduces a new and safer way to step into the future of showering, at a recommended retail price of £773.00 including vat.
